Inon Z-240 type 4 is probably the best underwater strobe currently on the market. It's a high performance unit for professionals and demanding users who want accurate exposures and high output from relatively small and light frame. Z-240's S-TTL mode provides automatic and accurate exposures as simple as pressing the shutter button. The Z-240 automatic modes are compatible with most digital cameras having a pre-flash and a transparent housing or optical window. The strobe can also be used in a more traditional way with a electrical sync cable with almost all existing SLR housings in manual modes. The Inon Z-240 also offers a powerful self extinguishing spotting light that helps the focusing in all kinds of conditions. If there is any one strobe that you don't need to upgrade, it would be the this one. The only other strobe you will be buying after this is another Z-240.
